SunPro Motorized Awning Installation in Mamaroneck, NY

This Mamaroneck homeowner had a beautiful, spacious deck that went unused for most of the day. The intense afternoon sun made it too hot and uncomfortable to enjoy meals, entertain guests, or simply unwind outdoors. They wanted a shading solution that would extend their living space and make their deck comfortable at any time of day.

Smart Shade, Stylish Design

To solve this, we recommended a SunPro motorized awning crafted with premium Sunbrella fabric—a trusted combination for durability, UV protection, and long-lasting color. The system was customized to fit the deck’s wide span, ensuring full coverage and seamless integration with the home’s exterior.

Project Highlights

This awning came equipped with modern features that enhance both safety and convenience:

Wind sensor: Automatically retracts during strong winds for protection.
LED lighting: Adds ambient illumination for cozy evening gatherings.
Manual tilt function: Allows easy angle adjustment as the sun shifts throughout the day.

The Result: A Year-Round Outdoor Retreat

Once installed, the motorized awning completely transformed the deck. What was once too bright and hot is now a cool, shaded escape perfect for morning coffee, afternoon relaxation, or dinner with friends. The homeowners now use their deck from sunrise to sunset—rain or shine—turning a once-overlooked space into their favorite part of the home.

From Scorching to Serene

With the addition of the SunPro motorized awning, this Mamaroneck backyard went from unusable to irresistible. The shaded deck now offers year-round comfort, balancing style, function, and technology for the ultimate outdoor experience.
